If you buy a TV with LCD flat screen, you have probably read about the 120-Hz models. You're probably wondering if the 120Hz models worth the additional costs. The value of the 120 Hz feature was discussed heavily in recent months. There are a number of things to consider before the decision.
In the early days of LCD or plasma TV Wars, one of the biggest disadvantages buying a LCD TV was that they were prone to motion blur and a bit roughImage, especially in times when there was plenty of fast action like sports or scenes from films such as car racing. Although there are many improvements over the years in the ability to handle fast-moving television was, LCD is still against the stigma of not having as smooth as a plasma table.
Enter the TV 120Hz. As an immediate response, the manufacturers have 120Hz LCD TVs in their latest models taken from TV. These TVs have a refresh rate twice as fast as the"Standard" 60Hz models.
Those who claims the 120Hz technology to use, that the picture is much softer with crystal clarity, especially in fast action scenes or sports. Another advantage is the ability to produce almost reached a 3D image.
On the other hand, others say they can no difference when comparing side by side with the "standard" 60Hz models. They believe that the 120 Hz models are just marketing tricks to sell more expensivetv.
So who is right? As usual, there is a balance. Even simpler, a 120Hz TV standard 60Hz signal and have only twice reproduce itself does little to improve the image quality. The real difference is using a video-processing function to improve the movement. Each company is its own name for this process. For example, the functionality of Samsung's Auto Motion Plus for AMP is known. This function is interpolated to the screen and the imageImage smoother and to reduce tremors.
Is to strengthen the movement of an image more satisfying? Again, this is controversial. Motion to improve its utmost to provide a smooth, stable image, free Jutter blurring and ghost images. Some describe Games 120Hz providing 30 frames per second part looks like a game of 60 frames per second, while others are fascinated by the ability, sports and movies and live-game-like 3D.
In the worst case, the development of the movementespecially in the rapid movement disorders may introduce a fraction of a second in the table "artifacts, which we believe clearly distracted. Others, shows that while the documentary style, like the earth is the stability of the plans with the excellent live-action to improve the movement, removes the feeling of moving pictures by a little too realistic, live television drama or a sense of cinematic experience rather than book.
It is important to note that the improvement of the movement can be one-off orSo, if you prefer to see a movie without the improvement of the movement that you disable only.
For now, at the election with a 120 Hz LCD flat-screen TVs go, is purely a matter of personal choice and budget. Note that this is a very new technology, and like all new technologies there are still things that need to be improved. There is little debate that 120Hz is the wave of the future and the technology will only improve with time. If the price is not a major concern orIf you try to spare the extra dollars to prove the future of your TV purchase, then it makes sense, it seems, with perfect features and additional benefits that the 120 Hz LCD flat-screen TVs offer can go. If price is a factor, and work with a limited budget then a standard model would be an excellent choice, until the 120-Hz models are developed.
